These reproductions are neither pixel nor frame perfect. Having watched a playthrough on YouTube, it turns out they're more like false memories. But this is how I remember them, and so I've stayed true to the composition and pacing of those memories.
My favorite detail: I couldn't find the original campfire animation, so I borrowed sprites from the back of Fire Kirby's head.
